We have the responsibility of providing clear direction to the Bioeconomy Science Institute (BSI) (formerly Plant & Food Research) breeding programme for the delivery of new products that meet current and future market opportunity and that both follow and anticipate consumer trends that transcend the immediate to 20-year plus timeframe. BSI and Prevar continually seek, develop and apply a range of technologies and novel approaches that lift breeding efficiency and reduce the varietal generational cycle timeframe of the breeding programme.
